What are good exercises to get in shape?

exercises
Tiffany <3 asked:

I am trying to lose up to 15-20 pounds, get in shape, and toned.
I would like a flatter stomach, tighten up my buns and thighs, and tone my arms and build strength.
I have a Pilates DVD but I also want to do extra workouts too.

If anyone knows any great exercises and good eating habits to help me, please feel free to share.

I would appreciate any help. Thankyou so much.
P.S.
I dont have access to a gym or any exercise machines.
Also, I cant really walk either because I dont have any one to walk with.

So I need exercises and tips I can do alone and at home.

Try a CARDIO DANCE CLASS!!! I did it b4 and it totally tightend my stomach and thighs!!!! It is sooo much fun and energizing!!!! My class was was @ Jazzersize once every two weeks because I had a very busy schedule, but if you have a certain day where you want to be at your perfect weight, than they can make more classes to fit different schedules. It’s kinda pricy though….
    GOOD LUCK:)

Exercise 3-4 times a week. Pilaties is very good for your ABS and **** and hips and thighs. Go to the gym run or do a stair master for 30 min, then do some weights 3-4 sets of 12times. Next day take a aerobics class or strenght work out class . Then the next day Do Pilaties and swim after if possible if not just 45 min of pilaties will do just fine.
s far as Diet stop eating any kind bread and sugar, for sigar you can use splenda. At first it might be difficult but then you will get used to eat. No fried stuff no pizza. Fish, brown rise, salads with low fat or no fat dressing. With grilled chicken. Hot meal you can make a hamburger on the grill or fish or chicken with steamed or cooked vegetables and brown rise on the side. No potatoes. Lots of water and multy vitamins. And please be consistent. As far as dessert, if you eat a small slice of cake or scoop of ice cream once a month its OK. But not every day. O, when you dieting be careful with alcohol too, it will get you sick in no time.

I really like Turbo Jam DVD by Beach Body, it’s more cardio with some strength training but if you do it for ten days or more straight with good diet you really do see the diffrence. It’s also said that the Squat is the king of all exercises. if done correctly and with some variations, you should tighten your core, lower body, and arms. It probably wouldn’t hurt to look into higher weight dumbells or wrist and ankle weights for your workouts. Don’t be afraid of 12 to 20 pound dumbells. If you have to work you way up to something heavy, that’s fine, just don’t hurt yourself. Also check out “Skinny B*tch” by Kim Barnouin and Rory Freedman. it has some really good info in there.

Buy a vibrating tummy belt. Wear it round your waist. Do it everyday. It helps to massage your whole body and loosen your fats too, whereby can slim you down a little bit, depending on individuals. You must also watch you food. Don’t get carry away by eating more than you normally do, all because you have this device to help you to slim. Please do not use this belt when you are having your monthly period, the instruction will warn you of this.

In addition to 60 minutes of cardio a day:

You could do ab circuits multiple times daily.
    *100 crunches
    *50 bicycle crunches
    *25 leg lifts
*balance your weight on your right elbow (20 seconds)
*balance your weight on your left elbow (20 seconds)
    *20 push-ups

Always keep your abs tight (even when sitting or walking)

Diet: eat foods low in sodium to counteract bloating of the stomach; eat healthy food all around

For arms, legs, etc. I use resistance bands, weights, and do squats and lunges.
